Perfect race area and spectators site

Sailors:

At Knudshoved Marina, you get flat water, zero current, and stable wind conditions regardless of direction. The race area is surrounded by a stone pier, ensuring tight, tactical, and manoeuvre-focused racing.

Spectators:

Imagine standing 5 meters above sea level, right in the middle of the racecourse, with a clear view of all marks. From here, you can not only follow the entire race but even hear the sailors as the action unfolds.

Where History Meets High-Performance Sailing

Knudshoved has historically been one of Denmark's most important ferry crossings, connecting Funen and Zealand for centuries before the bridges were built. This unique location, once a vital link for travelers and trade, now offers a spectacular setting for sailing. Racing Hobie 16s here combines modern high-performance sailing with a place rich in history—right where generations once crossed the Great Belt

Racing

Boats are provided. You just have to bring your normal sailing gear and trapeze.
There is only 7 trim options allowed to regulate:
- Main sheet
- Main traveler
- Cunningham
- Jib Sheet
- Jib Traveler
- Jib Halyard
- Trapezes  

A race takes 12-20 mins and between races there is approximately 30 mins of waiting, so bring a camping-chair to relax and enjoy the beach:)

Food

At the raceoffice tent there will be served Breakfast and lunch Saturday and Sunday and evening dinner Saturday.

We will not use plastik services and do not have the resources for reusable. 
Bring your own Fork, Knife, Spoon, Cup, Bowl and Plate, and what ever you use for dinning at a campsite.

If you arrive friday evening, we recommend to bring a pizza or eat in town.

Accommodation

Tent and camperfee are included in the registration from friday to sunday. It's a primitiv camping site with no option for power or water. There is no option for shower, but of course toilets. 

If you desperately need shower or power for your mobilehome, you can buy this in the harbour in town about 8 mins drive away.
